Maropeng to exhibit at Future Ed

Education is at the heart of Maropeng. Not only do we strive to educate our visitors about early humans, evolution and the impact we have on our environment, we also teach youngsters about how life used to be in the distant past.

Maropeng is therefore a haven for learners with interactive exhibitions to lessons about evolution and digging for fossils in front of the museum. The fascinating Sterkfontein Caves reveal secrets about our past, so a visit to Maropeng is always a memorable one.

In keeping with our focus on education, the Maropeng Visitor Centre will be exhibiting at South Africa’s first-ever educational resource exhibition, Future Ed – The Education Show, at the Coca Cola dome from May 27 - 29.

Future Ed will bring together, under one roof for the first time, educators, curriculum advisors and developers, governing bodies, special needs educators and parents to explore the future of education.
At the same time, educational products suppliers and services will have the opportunity to showcase their solutions, while giving attendees the chance to interact with them in an informal and unintimidating setup.

Some of the best-known and trusted brands will also be at the expo with the very latest in learning resources and services from early learning level right through to secondary education and further education and training.

A special exhibit, The Classroom of the Future, sponsored by SMART Technologies and VastraTech, will showcase products and services that extend beyond the traditional and offer a glimpse into education to come.
