For only R1 950 per person sharing, guests can enjoy a two-night stay at the four-star Maropeng Boutique Hotel, a tour of the Maropeng Visitor Centre and Sterkfontein Caves, and a drink on the Sterkfontein Caves boardwalk while watching the sun set across the valley of the Cradle of Humankind. As September 24 is also “National Braai Day”, the day’s activities are followed by an evening braai. Breakfast at the hotel and carvery lunch at the Tumulus Restaurant are included in the price.
