Make a promise for #EarthHourZA

At Maropeng we are passionate about caring for the environment and ensuring we follow best practice in terms of sustainability. This is why we’re joining the World Wide Fund for Nature South Africa (WWF-SA) in calling on individuals, businesses and organisations to make a promise to honour the Earth for Earth Hour, this Saturday.

This will take just a few moments of your time.

Please visit the promise platform at www.earthhour.org.za and make your promise. Then watch the ugly, burnt-out Earth turn to a healthy green one. The idea is to go “beyond the hour” and encourage everybody to change their behaviour in some way that will benefit the Earth for the better.

Once you’ve made your promise, please spread the word and get some of your friends to do the same. And don’t forget to join the symbolic hour of darkness on Saturday, 29 March 2014, 8:30 – 9:30pm local time.
