A Marabou stork guards the entrance to the zoo area of the Rhino & Lion Nature Reserve, in the Cradle of Humankind.

The Marabou stork is sometimes called the “undertaker bird” because of its appearance. Its black feathers look like a black coat from the back and its almost bald head resembles that of an old man.
