Food lovers and their families are invited to Maropeng’s Easter buffet brunch, to be held at the Tumulus Restaurant on 31 March from 10am to 4pm.

Catering for just about every taste, and offering everything from croissants to gammon and just about anything in between, the Easter buffet brunch is a special celebration (and the Tumulus Restaurant boasts views to match), so book your seat soon.

What’s on the menu?

Renowned for his culinary genius, Maropeng head chef Peter Langa will treat you and your loved ones to home-made hot cross buns, steaming plates of flapjacks, pancakes with maple syrup and chocolate croissants … and that’s just the bakery starter!

Warm breakfast options include slow-roasted chicken, sliced roast beef and glazed gammon, beef sausages and fried eggs, scrambled eggs with smoked bacon or salmon, and quiche, all served with wild mushrooms, rosemary potatoes, a gorgeous selection of veggies and rice pilaf.

The buffet meal includes a delectable selection of seasonal fruits, a variety of cheese and cold meats, and just about any biscuit you can think of to enjoy it with.

Sparkling wine, fruit juices and piping hot teas and coffees will be served throughout the buffet.

The shop price of R370 per person and R175 for children under the age of 14 includes a surprise gift for kids, as well as free entrance for both kids and adults to the Maropeng Visitor Centre.
