Time to “rock” at the Cradle of Humankind
What better place is there in the world to “rock” than the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site? The upcoming Cradle Festival at the Maropeng Visitor Centre in is going to do just that.
The inaugural Cradle Festival kicks off on May 6 and runs until May 15, and one of the highlights will be the variety of live music on offer.
On Saturday, May 7, Zak van Niekerk and Dozi will take to the stage in the late afternoon. On Sunday, May 8, which is Mother’s Day, you can enjoy Diedrik from 7de Laan, ADAM, and then Amor Vittone and the Musikale Mania Dancers.
The second weekend will see a fantastic line-up of DJs on Saturday, May 14. DJ Franky (Soulcandi), DJ Speedsta and DJ Capital will be spinning the decks, and Idols stars Bianca Le Grange and Jamie-Lee Sexton will entertain the crowds on Sunday, May 15.
Come out to the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site in May for this fantastic line-up of live music. You can also enjoy some tasty delights at the food tent, while the kids can take on obstacle courses and a range of fun activities in the children’s area. And, for the super-energetic, there will also be a wide range of sporting events.
